The decisions on this course begin right away. The wide fairway starts falling away to a creek at about the 200 yard marker. Do you lay up at the crest and leave yourself two more shots to the green? Do you try to drive down to the bottom of the hill and reach the green in two with a long iron or fairway wood, knowing if you hit your drive too far, its in the creek? The green is best entered from the front, as there is a sand trap on the right and pines to the left. The back to front slope means you want to be a little short on the approach. |
